Asics a Top Pick Again at World Triathlon Championships

By breid

Asics and Saucony finished just behind (at 12%) first-time shoe count winner Hoka (18%) in the recently released shoe count by David Jewell.  The annual shoe count is the pinnacle for those running shoes that are worn by the world’s greatest athletes who can choose their shoe.  Maybe a predictable win for Hoka who appeal to the very-high mileage runner despite evidence which shows equal frequency of injury compared to other brands.  Mizuno finished in the Top 10 as well.   Both Asics and Mizuno are available at OPT, along with Salomon and others.  BestReviews, a company that provides consumer education, and “All product reviews are 100% objective. BestReviews does not accept any form of compensation or consideration from manufacturers”, lists the Asics Kayano 23 as the “Best of the Best” Award citing that the shoe “is well worth the investment providing everything you’d expect including comfort and style”, adding superior “gel cushioning and glow in the dark for safety”.  Mizuno Wave Rider 19 made the Top 5 of Best Shoe Review.  Come get what your feet need at OPT…with service and a great price.
