Proper warm-ups are essential in all sports both from and injury prevention focus as well as a performance perspective. Frequently baseball players at all levels slack off when it comes to taking the time to properly prepare for games and practices. Warm-ups must be focused on the needs of the individual sport and in some cases the individual positions. The clinical staff at OPT has developed the warm-up below to include the varying needs of baseball players. It includes sections for independent stretches, a big body warm-up, dynamic/movement based stretches as well as an ending section we like to call power -up! In order to perform well an athlete needs to be at 100% once they hit the field. Our warm-up assists in getting your baseball athletes focused, powered-up and ready to move.
