Kasey Winchell, DPT, CSCS
Kasey graduated from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY with a B.S. in Clinical Science/Nutrition Science and continued at Ithaca College to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2007. She has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 2010 and is a certified Selective Functional Movement Assessment provider since 2015. Kasey’s special interests include treatment of general orthopedic and sports medicine injuries in both the pediatric and adolescent populations. Her clinical strengths include shoulder instability, rotator cuff injuries and foot and ankle injuries and nutritional education for the injured athlete, recreational athlete and post-operative patient. Kasey has a growing passion for functional movement science
Marann M. McCann PT M.Ed.
Marann received her BS degree in Physical Therapy from University of Connecticut 1973 and then earned her M.Ed. in Health Education from Rhode Island College 2002. Marann has enjoyed extensive rehabilitation experiences with the geriatric population in skilled nursing facilities, acute care; outpatient clinics and well as home care settings. Physical Therapy treatment concentrations are primarily for neurological and orthopedic conditions. As an educator Marann has taught at CCRI in the Physical Therapy Assistant program. Community Health Education is an ongoing interest. She maintains membership in the American Physical Association (APTA) and R.I APTA as well as the East Bay Chamber of Commerce.
Mike graduated from The University of Rhode Island in 2015 with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. During his time at URI, he gained clinical internship experience working with a variety of patients in the ICU, acute care, rehab unit, and outpatient orthopedic settings. 2015, he became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Mike graduated from Western Illinois University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology. Being a sports and exercise enthusiast, Mike believes in an active lifestyle to promote physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. He is currently doing continuing education for Applied Chain Reaction Biomechanics and certificate in Applied Functional Science.
