Amy Simmons, DPT, MS

Amy graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education/Health and in 2005 with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Simmons College in Boston, MA in December of 2007. She has completed additional course work in head injury and concussion treatment/management from Harvard Med and Boston University, in Functional Rehabilitation from the Kinetic Chain/Gray Institute, and in Lumbopelvic Integration from IMTS.

Amy especially enjoys the treatment of sports related injuries and post-surgical athletes.  She provides the on-site physical therapy services for Roger Williams University in their Athletic Training Room where she works with both athletes and the general student population. Amy works with area high school and youth athletic programs in the provision of warm-up and injury prevention programs. She serves as the director of OPT’s Total Athletic Performance Summer Conditioning Camp.

Amy routinely serves as a member of the Boston Marathon Medical team and has past participation on both the Marine Corps Marathon and Cape Cod Marathon Teams. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, as well as the Sports Section of the APTA. She has past service as the Programming Chair for the RIAPTA Board of Directors, on the East Bay Chamber of Commerce Business and Community Relations Committee as well as the Bayside YMCA Membership and Program Development Committee.

In her free time Amy serves as a Coach with the Nor’Easter Soccer Club. She enjoys backpacking, skiing, weight training and everything soccer related. She is a lifelong resident of Little Compton where she resides with her husband.

William Campion III, PT, DPT

OPT Bristol-Warren Intern Coordinator

Will earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in May of 2011 from Utica College. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice / Economic Crime Investigation earned in May of 2005. He brings to OPT a strong interest in functional exercise and evaluation as well as a focus in strength and conditioning. He has extensive experience in gait evaluation and ankle and foot biomechanics.

In his free time Will enjoys working out using components of the Cross-Fit program, as well as sailboat racing.

Lorraine Stanzione

Lorraine brings over 41 years of experience in the administrative field to the OPT team. Her expertise in customer service and organizational skills are a definite asset in front office.

Andrea Wasylow, DPT, LATC

Andrea graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Movement Science, Sport and Leisure studies with a concentration in Athletic Training from Westfield State College and in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of New England in December, 2013. Additionally Andrea earned a Fellowship in Applied Functional Science in 2007 from the Gray Institute. In addition to physical therapy, she is a licensed athletic trainer, massage therapist and is a Nike Certified Golf Performance Specialist.
Andrea has extensive experience working with athletes of all ages and levels of ability, however enjoys working with (everyone).
Andrea currently serves as a Faculty member and presenter with the Gray Institute. She is a member of the APTA and NATA professional organizations. In her free time Andrea serves as a coach in recreational youth soccer, basketball and softball in the town of Rehoboth where she lives with her husband and two daughters.

Mallory McPheron, DPT

Mallory earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Saint Francis University in 2015.  She graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology and a minor in Biomedical Sciences from Ohio Northern University in 2012. As an undergraduate student she competed on the Cross Country and Track and Field teams. Her clinical rotations included advanced training in both outpatient sports/Orthopedic PT as well as inpatient and post-surgical care. Mallory remains engaged in continuing education with a focus on Applied Functional Science / Chain Reaction Biomechanics. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and activity levels in order to assist them in returning to doing what they love!
Mallory’s active pursuits include running, cycling, going for walks in Bristol and spending time with her husband, new baby, and dog.
