OPT is proud to announce that Eric Isenberg, Staff P.T. in Middletown, a 2007 Graduate of U.R.I.’s Physical Therapy program, has successfully passed his O.C.S., the APTA’s Orthopedic Certified Specialist Exam.  Eric has been with OPT since May of 2007 and has shown great enthusiasm toward learning.  He is involved with staff training providing frequent inservices and “brown bag lunch” learning series.  Upon his graduation from U.R.I. Eric won 2 of the 3 Faculty Academic Awards.  He has been a steady and productive employee at the Middletown Office ever since.  OPT is happy to make the announcement of Eric earning his OCS standing.  Fewer than 10% of all eligible P.T.s earn this certification.  It requires months of independent study and then a lengthy sit-down test.
