Since 1947, the Schwartz Center for Children has served as Southeastern Massachusetts’ only independent, community based provider of education, therapy, and medical care for children with special medical and developmental needs. On March, 19th Suzanne Kosinski-DPT, and Ashley Richer- Rehab aid, ran in the New Bedford Half Marathon for The Schwartz Center’s initiative, “Pushing Beyond Limits“. This involves many dedicated runners and volunteers who are striving to give the children a once in a lifetime experience as they are pushed throughout the entire course on racing strollers. For the second year in a row Suzanne and Ashley volunteered as runners and helped Team Mackenzie complete the race!
