In the world of Physical Therapy and Sports Performance Training, choices are made upon which path to follow. In most PT schools, students are taught ‘traditional’ PT symptom-based approaches. Most of these ‘textbook’ approaches aim for relief of local symptoms and are often steered by information that is profit driven (like some ‘new’ machine which promises symptom relief but is supported only by research provided by the seller of the machine, or in some cases the seller of the educational seminar). Most PT schools are still caught up by traditional views and matching these to antiquated National Board Test questions.
